Level I

The Three Crosses

Three crosses stand at the heart of our crest. Each one tells part of the gospel story.

Level II

Salt of the Earth

Jesus called His people salt. Here is what salt does in Scripture, and what it means for us.

Every grain of salt is a tiny cube. Look closely and you'll see a crystal.

Salt preserves

“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted?”Matthew 5:13

Before refrigerators, salt kept good things from spoiling. We are called to preserve what is good in our homes, our city and our generation.

Level III

Dig Deeper

“Surely there is a vein for the silver… But where shall wisdom be found?… The fear of the Lord, that is wisdom.”Job 28:1, 12, 28

Our vision

Empowering the saints

We empower the saints for the work of the ministry, so that God can use us to build a spiritual community that grows people from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity.

We believe

The inspired Word

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error, and His authoritative revelation to man. It is the sole and final authority in all areas of life.

We believe

One true God

The one true God is an eternal, personal Being existing as a Trinity in unity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Pastor Merdice Brown

Salt Mine Ministries began with her obedience to God's call. We honor Pastor Brown, our founder and Pastor Emeritus, for laying the foundation of this house, for her faithful prayers and for her years of shepherding the Salt Mine family. Every Sunday we gather, we build on what she planted.

“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon.”1 Corinthians 3:10
